Rebirth Apostolic Ministries starts a CBT Therapy Centre
REV. EM MANYIKE is a child raised by a step father who himself had not received fatherly love from his own father because he had to leave his war torn Mozambique home as a teenager to look for work in what was known as Transvaal, now known as Gauteng in South Africa. He met a young woman who had two children a boy and a young girl child. They got married at a very young age and as a result. He could not raise the young boy effectively because he himself has not known fatherly love and care from his own father since he left his home as a teenager in his 14th or 15th birthday. This has resulted in the young boy (Eric Mhlakaze Manyike) growing up without fatherly love and care. This has resulted in him having difficulty relating to other children and eventually left school before he could finish high school. He had to learn to survive and teach himself how to be a father when he started his own family. But as years went on, Eric started to realize the trauma of growing without leadership from a loving father creating problems for his marriages which saw him having two failed attempts with the promising one also defragmenting. But by the grace he received salvation and a walk with God began. He is now a Proffional Religeuos mentor and a Pastoral counsellor and has started a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Centre to help those who are the victims of failed marriages, Substance abuse, Alcohol Addiction and Trauma to find help through education and Seminars. The organization is an NPC Company called Rebirth Apostolic Ministries NPC which established RECOBT SA which provides Urban Ministries through Counselling and Life coaching services and religeous education. We are hoping to build the Centre in Refilwe ext 9, Cullinan to service areas of Refilwe, Cullinan, Bronkhorstspruit and Mamelodi in education and combating drugs and Alcohol Addiction.
